ALFESS™, Functional Electrical Stimulation System

We are certified providers of this new functional electrical stimulation (FES) wireless device.

With NeuroConnect your device can be set up in your own home to address foot drop and upper leg weakness due to multiple sclerosis, stroke, spinal cord injury and other brain and spine conditions. If you already own a device, we can make any software upgrades and settings reviews required to keep the device working at its best.

With this machine electrical impulses are sent to the nerves that supply the lower limb muscles and this assists in lifting of the foot. An algorithm compiles information from the sensors in the device which senses the user's walking speed and angles of their leg to optimise its affect.
