Abi Beddard

Abi qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2016 and has over seven years experience working within the NHS at Kings College Hospital (KCH) where she is currently based on the hyper acute stroke unit.

She has gained extensive experience in rehabilitating patients following a stroke, acute spinal injuries, acute facial palsy, vestibular conditions and supporting those with long term neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and motor neurone disease.

Abi is a certified Pilates instructor through APPI, has attended acute facial management courses with Facial Therapy Specialists International, vestibular workshops via the Association of Physiotherapists in Vestibular Rehabilitation and has completed the introductory Bobath training. She regularly utilises additional adjuncts clinically such as FES, splinting, orthotics and taping.

She is extremely passionate about applying these skills when assessing and treating complex neurological conditions to help empower and enable her patients to fulfil their best quality of life.
