Fran McPhedran

Fran qualified with a first class degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Manchester in 2003. She has since worked at Addenbrooke’s Teaching Hospital before moving to Canada to work at British Columbia’s largest rehabilitation hospital in Vancouver. Fran has most recently been working at Frenchay Brain Injury Rehab Unit in Bristol.

Fran has extensive experience working with adults with complex neurological conditions both in hospital, community and outpatient settings. She has worked with a wide range of patients including those with complex neurological conditions, complex trauma, head injury, stroke and progressive neurological conditions.

Fran really enjoys working with her patients to achieve their individual goals, fulfil their potential and manage their conditions. She believes in a holistic approach to therapy and is passionate about empowering patients to optimise their mobility and function. She has a keen interest in supporting patients with physical activity in order to maximise both their physical and mental well-being.
