Marc Aureli Piqué Batalla

After qualifying as a Physiotherapist in Spain, Marc took up a post as Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist in Italy where he developed extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of a a wide range of specialities including complex neurological conditions, stroke, head injury, facial palsy and neuro-oncology. In 2018, Marc completed a MSc Health Science Research. He now also works for Bath National Pain Centre and is undertaking a PhD at the University of West of England.

Marc’s approach to neuro-rehabilitation is holistic, patient-centred, and individualised. He is passionate about working with clients collaboratively, supporting their progress, enabling them to reach their goals. He has always had an enthusiasm in supporting clients to improve their quality of life using high quality care and best evidence-based physiotherapy interventions. In addition to his neuro experience he is a professional contributor for National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society a self-management programme for people with Axial Spondyloarthritis.

Marc has worked as Associate Lecturer at Cardiff University and he is a certified Cognitive Multisensory Rehabilitation instructor. He regularly teaches courses through the National Centre of Rehabilitation Education.
