Rachel Marsh

London

Rachel has over 20 years experience as a neuro physiotherapist. She has alway had an enthusiasm for the specialty and worked for 9 years at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square. Prior to this, Rachel held posts within Richmond Community Therapy team, as a Multiple Sclerosis Specialist Physiotherapist and at Kings College Hospital, London, as a Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist.

Rachel has developed expert skills, having treated a wide range of patients with complex and rare neuro disabilities. She has extensive experience in neuro-rehabilitation, neuro-surgery, stroke management, neuro-oncology, upper limb rehabilitation, facial palsy rehabilitation, spasticity services and in treating progressive neurological conditions. Rachel has completed the post graduate Bobath course.

She has a keen interest in enabling clients to participate in physical activity and exercise in order to maximise quality of life. Rachel was responsible for the management of ‘Physio Pulse’, a gym based exercise group for patients with neurological impairment, run in conjunction with Southwark Council.
