Uroosa Mayet

Since qualifying from St George's University in London, Uroosa has specialised in neuro physiotherapy with a passion for rehabilitation. She currently works as a clinical specialist physiotherapist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, with previous experiences at St George's University Hospital and Barts Health NHS Trust.

She has developed specialist assessment and treatment skills working with individuals following stroke and neurosurgery as well as those with progressive neurological conditions including neuromuscular diseases and multiple sclerosis. She has specialist skills in the assessment and treatment of dizziness and balance due to BPPV and other vestibular disorders.

Uroosa has completed courses in upper and lower limb splinting, shoulder pain, the Introductory Bobath modules and is PD warrior level 1 and 2 trained. She is bubbly, positive and motivated in helping you to achieve your goals.
