Emma Lewis

Bath

Emma qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2007 with a first-class degree from the University of Birmingham. Early in her career, she developed a strong interest in neurological rehabilitation, inspired by senior colleagues. She has since worked with a wide range of neurological conditions across acute, outpatient, and community settings in both the NHS and private practice.

A committed lifelong learner, Emma’s interest in the mind–body connection led her to complete yoga teacher training in 2016. She has since integrated breathwork and mindful movement into her rehabilitation approach, supporting clients at all stages of recovery. More recently she has undertaken training in Acupuncture.

Emma is also a passionate educator. In 2022, she began lecturing at City St George’s University, later transitioning to an associate role following her move to Bath in 2026. She continues to engage with physiotherapy students, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. Alongside this, she teaches accessible yoga classes and contributes to anatomy teaching on yoga teacher training programmes.

Emma enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds and is continually inspired by the resilience and determination of those she supports.
