Josie Townsend

Josie graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2021 and has since gained experience working across several NHS trusts, including Brighton, Imperial College and King’s College, as well as in private neurological rehabilitation.

She specialises in neurological physiotherapy, with extensive experience supporting individuals with stroke, Parkinson’s disease and spinal cord injuries. She has a particular clinical interest in functional electrical stimulation and gait re-education to optimise mobility and functional recovery.

Josie is passionate about supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals and maximise independence, delivering personalised rehabilitation within the comfort of a person’s own home to help improve confidence, mobility and quality of life.
